4th annual Hunger Fight to take place June 10-12 in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Meals for the Heartland’s 4th annual Hunger Fight will take place June 10-12, 2021.
Volunteers are required to assist in the packaging of meals for individuals in need in the Cedar Rapids area. During the three days, the target is to package 150,000 meals.
During this event, each volunteer will wrap around 540 meals in a two-hour shift. That is the equivalent of feeding two hungry children for a whole year. Volunteers must be at least eight years old and must be accompanied by an adult.
The event will be held at the DoubleTree Convention Complex, 350 1st Ave NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.
