Authorities identified the man killed in a Cedar Rapids stabbing incident
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Cedar Rapids authorities identified the man who was killed in a stabbing incident earlier this week.
Christopher Anson, age 52, from Cedar Rapids, was reportedly stabbed in the chest at a residence located in the 1500 block of 5th Avenue Southeast on Wednesday afternoon. According to the officials, Christopher Anson died as a result of his injuries.
However, despite the efforts of first responders, Anson was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a press statement issued by the city of Cedar Rapids, two men who were present at the crime scene were taken to the police station for questioning.
The investigation is still going on right now, and no further information has been made public at this time.
