Cedar Rapids warehouse fire leaves three people injured including a firefighter
Cedar Rapids, Iowa – According to officials, three people were injured due to a fire at PMX Industries on Friday night.
Firefighters were dispatched at 5300 Willow Creek Drive SW around 9:45 pm to a report of a fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a warehouse on fire with many highly flammable materials in it like, shavings of zinc, magnesium, phosphorus etc.
The fire was put under control and the building sustained minor damage.
Two employees and a firefighter suffered injuries during the fire. They were transported to UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment.
