Fiery car crash leaves one man dead
Hudson, Iowa – On Tuesday morning, a Hudson man died after colliding head-on with a semi truck.
According to the Hudson Police Department, the collision between the Ford F150 and the semi occurred around 8 a.m. on Hudson Road.
The Ford F150 was on fire when first responders arrived, and the semi had jackknifed, laying on its side and blocking both lanes of traffic.
The Ford F150 was heading southbound, while the semi was driving northbound, according to preliminary investigation.
The Ford truck crossed the middle line and collided with the semi-truck head-on.
Paul Kuehl, the driver of the Ford F150, died as a result of his injuries sustained in the collision.
The investigation by the Black Hawk Sheriff’s Department and Hudson Police Department is still ongoing.
