St. Mark’s Lutheran Church to host The Living Story for a second year
Marion, Iowa – From December 16th to 18th, a Marion church will hold a free drive-thru nativity scene.
“The Living Story” will take place in the parking lot of Marion’s St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, located at 8300 C Avenue.
The event will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. and is free.
Each night of the Living Story, there will be many scenes and over 100 volunteers from the St. Mark’s community. During the event, participants will remain in their vehicles and drive around the St. Mark’s parking lot to hear a narration of the nativity tale given through the eyes of his father, Joseph. E. Robins Road is the entrance to the parking lot.
This is St. Mark’s second year hosting The Living Story. On three evenings last December, their first live nativity attracted over 1,000 vehicles and 4,000 visitors to the St. Mark’s parking lot.
The Living Story’s mission is to create a safe Christmas celebration for the community.
